The Basic Structure of a Wedding Ceremony
Your Wedding Ceremony can be Created Any Way You Wish...!
My Wish is to Create a Ceremony that is a Personal Complement to Your Special Day.
Basic Ceremony Structure...: ( usually lasts around 15 to 20 minuets )
- Opening Words... A Welcome to Your Family, Friends and Guests.
- Setting the Mood... Readings or a Prayer that Sets the Tone
for why we are Gathered Together.
- Presentation of the Bride... as you wish
- Vows, Promises, Intentions...
- Ring Exchange...
- Other / Special Ceremony items... Family, Children, Candle Lighting, ect.
- The Kiss...
- Presentation of the Couple.
- Conclusion / Benediction.
Often couples wish to include material that has special significance or personal meaning to them.
I encourage couples to write some portion of the Ceremony themselves, such as Vows, Promises or Intentions. Material can be added, subtracted and re-organized any way You Wish.
